Eternally Sealed

Eternally Sealed

Eternally Sealed this 12x24 acrylic beauty is so special and would make a powerful statement no matter where you decide you hang it! This painting was inspired by the hymn "Come thou Fount." I am a worshipper leader at the church I attend and this song was a song I sang for a Sunday service. Leading up to the service I played the song over and over again to really allow the Lord to minister to me as I was preparing to sing it and as I listened to the song the verses just painted such beautiful imagery in my mind, especially the lines that inspired this painting. the end of the song says "Prone to wander Lord I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Here's my heart Lord take and seal it, seal it for thy courts above." Those last few lines broke me, and I became overcome by tears. There is nothing I want more than to offer the Lord my entire heart and faithful commitment, and the fact that I am prone to leave and wander breaks my heart because he is deserving of complete faithful love and devotion. There are so many distractions and worries this world has to offer that desire to consume our minds and take our eyes and hearts off of our first love and this painting is a reminder that thou our flesh may fail, The Father has called and sealed the hearts of those who belong to Him. I am eternally thankful we get to experience this because of His great love, faithfulness and because He has purchase and sealed us with His name and Holy spirit through His great sacrifice for us! May this piece reveal revelations of how great the Fathers love and faithfulness truly is.
